Terms of service for InfinitMeals

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using InfinitMeals ("the service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to the above, do not use this service.
2. Description of the Service
InfinitMeals is a meal planning platform that enables users to plan meals, manage recipes and create shopping lists. The service is provided by Infiniteam ("we," "us" or "our").
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current and complete.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to delete any free account that has been inactive for more than three (3) months. Prior to deletion, we will send a reminder email to the registered email address two (2) weeks before account deletion. An account is considered inactive if there has been no login activity or use of the service for a period of three (3) consecutive months.
When you create an account, we may link and store with your account the campaign or referral source (such as a campaign identifier or the website or link you used) that led you to sign up. This information is used to understand how users find the service and to improve our offering. For more detail on how we use this data, see our Privacy Statement.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload or submit to the service ("user content"). By submitting user content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store and display your user content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are solely responsible for your user content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant the license mentioned above.
5. Subscription and Payment
Some features of the service are provided on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fees. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
6. Privacy
Our privacy policy applies to your use of our service. View our privacy policy here to learn about our practices regarding the collection and use of your data.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the service:
- For any unlawful purpose or to encourage others to engage in unlawful acts
- To violate international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws or local ordinances
- To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
- To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate or discriminate
- To submit false or misleading information
- To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
8. Termination
We may immediately terminate or suspend your account and access to the service, without prior notice or liability, upon violation of the terms of service. Upon termination, your right to use the service immediately ceases.
9. Recipe Use and Health Disclaimer
The recipes, nutritional information and cooking instructions provided through the service are for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for any damage, injury or health problems that may result from the use, misuse or interpretation of recipes or information provided by the service.
The user is responsible for:
- Verifying the safety and suitability of ingredients for their dietary needs, allergies and health conditions
- Ensuring proper food handling, storage and cooking practices
- Consulting healthcare providers regarding dietary restrictions, allergies or health issues
- Conducting their own research and taking appropriate precautions before using a recipe
By using recipes from the service, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these risks and agree that Infiniteam, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers or affiliates are not liable for any consequences arising from your use of the recipes or information provided.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Infiniteam, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers or affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the service.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms at any time. For material changes, you will receive at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect.

14. Recipe License Validation
Infiniteam is not responsible for validating licenses of licensed recipes from cookbooks. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the proper rights and licenses to use recipes they access through the service. Infiniteam accepts no liability for any copyright, trademark or license issues regarding recipes obtained from cookbooks or other sources.
15. Data Retention and Ownership
Outdated data, including old weekly menus and old shopping lists, are automatically cleaned up after one (1) month from the date of creation or last modification. This data is not owned by the user account, and no rights to such data may be claimed. Infiniteam reserves the right to delete such data without prior notice. Users acknowledge that they have no ownership rights or claims to data that is automatically deleted as part of our data retention policy.
16. Beta Program Discounts
Beta participants who have earned a discount by providing constructive feedback receive this discount for the lifetime of their account or the lifetime of the application, whichever is shorter. No rights may be claimed, nor may money be claimed, when the application goes bankrupt or when a user account is blocked or deleted due to inappropriate behavior. The discount is a privilege granted at the sole discretion of Infiniteam and may be revoked if the account violates the terms of service or is terminated for any reason.
17. Invite a Friend
InfinitMeals offers a referral program that allows you to invite friends to join our community. By inviting friends, you can earn discounts on your subscription.
Requirements:
- You must provide the email address of the friend you wish to invite
- Each friend can only be invited once by a single user
- The friend must sign up and create an account using the email address you provided
- The friend must have an active paid subscription for the discount to apply
Benefits:
- You will receive a 5% discount on your subscription price for each friend you invite who has an active paid subscription
- The maximum total discount you can earn through the referral program is 50% of your subscription price
- The discount is applied as long as the friend maintains any active paid subscription
- Discounts are applied automatically to your next and future subscription payments, not to already paid amounts
- Each friend's tenant code can only be registered once for the discount, meaning multiple users cannot refer the same friend to earn separate discounts
The referral discount is a privilege granted at the sole discretion of Infiniteam. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice. Discounts earned through the referral program may be revoked if your account violates the terms of service or is terminated for any reason. No monetary compensation or refunds will be provided for revoked referral discounts or for payments already made before the discount was applied.
18. AI Features and Limitations
InfinitMeals may offer AI-powered features such as recipe import (e.g. from URLs or images), chat assistance, or image generation. These features are provided "as is" and may be subject to rate limits or availability. You are responsible for the content you submit to these features. Do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential information, or content you do not have the right to use. Results generated by AI are for inspiration only; Infiniteam does not guarantee accuracy or suitability for any purpose.
19. Recipe Photos and Uploads
Recipe photos and other content you upload are stored in the cloud (e.g. Azure Blob Storage) and associated with your account. By uploading content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to do so. When you delete a recipe or your account, we will delete or anonymize the associated stored content in accordance with our data retention and deletion processes.
20. Collaborators (Sub-tenant Access)
You may invite collaborators (sub-tenants) to your household. Permission levels (e.g. full access or groceries-only) are set by you. You are responsible for managing who has access and for their use of the account. You may revoke a collaborator's access at any time. Infiniteam is not responsible for actions taken by collaborators within the scope of the access you granted.
21. Friend Connections and Referrals
When you invite a friend by email, we use that email to send an invitation on your behalf. Connecting as friends may allow visibility of limited profile or referral-related information as described in the app. You may not abuse the referral system (e.g. fake accounts or spam). Referral discounts depend on your friend maintaining an active paid subscription as set out in section 17.
22. Diagnostics and Feedback
When you submit feedback or diagnostics (e.g. from in-app support), do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive data. Diagnostics may include device type, browser or app version, and technical logs to help us troubleshoot. By submitting, you consent to our use of that information for support and product improvement.
23. Linked Accounts
If the service allows linking or switching between accounts (e.g. household or tenant codes), you are responsible for keeping any access codes secure and for use of the service under those accounts. You may unlink or switch accounts as provided in the app; doing so may affect access to data associated with the previously linked account.
